CARE OF YOUR NEW TATTOO

✔ Leave bandage on overnight.

 

✔ Remove bandage in the morning. Wash your tattoo with mild soap and water.

 

✔ Always wash your hands before you touch your tattoo.

 

✔ Apply a small amount of AFTER INKED to your tattoo and rub completely into the skin 3 – 5 times daily.

 

✗ DO NOT re-bandage your tattoo.

 

✗ DO NOT pick or scratch your tattoo.

 

✗ DO NOT soak your tattoo in water, use hot tubs, or swim for 2 weeks.

 

✗ DO NOT get any direct sunlight on your tattoo for at least 2 weeks.

 

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS CAN EXTEND YOUR HEALING TIME OR PREVENT THE TATTOO FROM LOOKING ITS BEST.

CARE OF YOUR NEW BODY PIERCING

✔ Spray H2Ocean’s Piercing Aftercare Spray on the piercing area and allow the solution to absorb into the skin. DO NOT wipe it off.

 

✗ DO NOT touch the body piercing or rotate jewelry during the healing period.

 

✗ DO NOT take it out. Body piercings may take many months to completely heal. Changing or removing jewelry should be avoided during this time.

 

✗ DO NOT let the body piercing come in contact with another person’s bodily fluids.

 

✗ NEVER use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or hand soap to clean your body piercing. These products damage healthy cells and cause scar tissue.

 

✗ Products that contain petroleum are not recommended as it may collect and promote the growth of bacteria. (Neosporin or Bacitracin)

 

✗ AVOID lakes, hot tubs, and public pools until the piercing is completely healed.

 

✗ REDUCE the intake of alcohol, caffeine, and aspirin during the healing period.

 

✗ AVOID alcohol, smoking, chewing tobacco, and spicy foods with a new oral piercing.

 

✗ AVOID direct sunlight, tanning beds, oils, lotions.

 

✗ Tight fitting clothes may irritate a new piercing.

 

✔ Practicing good hygiene helps during the healing period.
