Chances are that, if you've been in a tattoo shop before, you've probably heard the name Ken Cameron. Ken has been a professional tattoo artist for over 20 years and has worked all over North America -- mostly in British Columbia, Canada, California, and now here in South Florida. Ken's tattoo flash design sheets are among the most popular sold and you'll find them hanging in about 5000 tattoo studios worldwide. The diversity of his artistic influences are evident in the range of tattoo styles that he is capable of. He feels that inspiration can come from high art or something as simple as a comic book. When asked about his inspirations from the tattoo world, however, he's able to mention a few specifics. "Since I've been a tattoo artist for more than 20 years, I've had the opportunity to work with and get to know many great artists. Among my main influences are Dave Shore of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, Paul Jefferies of Smilin' Buddha fame (who I worked with for 5 years), and Eddy Deutsche of 222 Tattoo in San Francisco (who has done extensive work on me). South Beach Tattoo Company has been my home base since 1994, although I still travel extensively throughout the year to tattoo at conventions (mostly around the United States)."
